Looking for a new way to (re)connect with your partner on all levels? Are you ready to grow together, explore parts of your relationships you haven’t looked into yet, learn more about the person you are sharing so much of your life with or work through topics you are currently facing? This magical couples retreat might just be what you are looking for!
It is a space for vulnerability, love, understanding, dreams and goals – both, for witchy people, as well as those who are complete strangers to the magical world.
Through exercises, workshops and rituals you will go on an explorative journey together. Discover how to manifest individual or common goals for the future, learn to communicate and open up in new ways, build or reestablish trust, help your partner heal emotional wounds and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your partner.
There will be fitting activities for you and your partner to rekindle that sexual, sensual or emotional spark and learn new ways to care for each other. There is also space and time to learn rituals that might aid you on your (in)fertility journey.
After having hosted witchcraft retreats for solo practitioners for the past 4 years with great success (and an overwhelming percentage of return customers), I noticed that more and more people came back together with their partners. And while those partners were (for the most part) not at all practicing witches or even sharing the same spiritual beliefs, they still enjoyed the group dynamics and activities very much. Open-mindedly experiencing this very magical energy of a safe space, where one can show up open and vulnerable, spending very intense days together, in which you do things you usually don’t find the time for, and talk about things you might have never said out loud, can have an incredibly bonding and transformational effect.
Inspired by the couples I had the pleasure of meeting, I decided to plan a retreat solely dedicated to couple dynamics and all the topics, struggles and potentials that may arise in romantic relationships:
A ‘muggle-friendly’ magical couples Retreat for Beltane!
Beltane, an ancient Celtic fertility festivals is all about couples, sex, romance, community and interpersonal relationships – so what better time to invest in your relationship with your significant other and try something new.
I am so excited to get to know you individually and as a team and guide you through a most magical, impactful time together! All ages (18+) and gender constellations are welcome.
The Location
The couples retreat will be held in a secluded, beautiful location about 1 hour from Munich airport. Seminarhaus Lamplstätt is a completely reformed Bavarian farm house, equipped with spiritual retreats, magical energy and southern German comfort in mind. It is also a highly popular wedding venue and has a romantic and intimate feel to it. It is located in the middle of fields, forests and soft hills – surrounded by beautiful nature and magical places of natural power. You can spot the snowy peaks of the alps, which are just a short 20-minute car ride away – as is beautiful Lake Chiemsee. The rooms are equipped with either a double bed or separate twin beds as well as a bathroom. Some of the rooms also share a separate little sitting room, balcony, bathroom and kitchen. There is free WiFi in the entire house.
A wood-burning barrel sauna overlooking the hills, does add a little spa touch – and it does definitely feed into that hobbit ambience the surrounding nature already evokes. It is the perfect place to relax and warm up, after spending an early summers evening at the tiny private pond, at the bottom of the property. The private property (4000 sqft) offers ideal options to explore the local flora and fauna – from wild foraging to deer-watching in the mornings. Take a stroll through the orchards, private forest and through the vegetable patches, enjoying mother nature’s bounty.
A big fire pit in front of the house is the perfect place for a festive Beltane Bonfire ritual, barbeques and romantic stargazing. The intimate seminar room is a beautiful 17th-century vaulted hall, equipped with yoga mats, meditation cushions, drums, gongs, a cozy fireplace, adorned with crystals and tastefully decorated to set the mood for a truly magical, intimate and transformational retreat. A comfortable dining and relaxation room offers space for communal magical meals – catered to your dietary restrictions and with the theme of Beltane (fertility, romance and sex) in mind 😉
There is also a little farm shop, in which you can purchase homemade jams, eggs, juices, local honey and beer, and other handcrafted things from the farm.

• Airport shuttle transfer from and to Munich Franz Josef Strauss Airport (ca. 30 Euro per person, per direction).
• City shuttle transfer from and to Munich Main Station price (ca. 30 Euro per person, per direction).
• Drinks with meals & during ceremonies are included (additional drinks or snacks can be purchased at a small cost at the location).
• Shuttle service from train station Soyen (ca. 7 Euro per person, per direction).

Policies
This retreat is open to romantic couple of all ages (18+), genders and constellations. While it is a retreat that includes some secular magical practices, it is definitely designed with non-witchcraft practitioner of all (or no) religious beliefs and spiritual diversity in mind. It is meant to be a safe space for those who attend. Being respectful and open-minded towards all is a non-negotiable condition.
In order to join, a small non-refundable deposit is needed to hold your space. Full payment must be received, latest, 6 months before the date of the retreat.
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy described here will apply, with no exceptions. If unforeseen circumstances occur (ex. injury, illness, work issues, family emergency etc.), you’re welcome to find someone else to take your spot. If we have people on the waitlist, we’ll do our best to replace you and refund your money, but cannot promise this. That said, in general, we try to be as accommodating as we can be and understand that life happens – open communication is key.
If for some unexpected reason, The Witches’ Cookery cancels the retreat, we’ll refund you in full for all payments including deposits, but cannot compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. We do recommend purchasing Travel Insurance, if that’s a worry.
