At the Pink Moon Rising Retreat, you will go through a life-changing experience of pure magic in action.
Use 5 days out of space and time to reset and recharge, work on your personal themes, and grow. Hit the pause button on the mundane and gift yourself time to just be, to breathe, to explore the magic within and around, disconnect from outside stressors, and reconnect with yourself.
At this witchy retreat, we will harness the seasonal energies of spring, leading up to the completion of the pink full moon. Spring is a time of renewal, rebirth, and new beginnings. It’s the time of year when flowers bloom, birds sing, and the world seems to come back to life again. A time when we plant and nurture new seeds and see them bloom.
During this witchcraft retreat, we will work with the same themes on a transcendental level, through different magical, mundane, and psychological approaches. Through guided ritual, spellwork, journaling, shadow work, and meditation we will let go of the darkness that holds us back and find ways to bloom into our most beautiful, authentic selves. Glamour magic, intuitive painting, kitchen witch mixology, rune casting, and other magical activities will help to inspire our creative sides and sharpen our intuition.
Spring is also a time to nurture body, mind, and soul after a dark winter – and we shall definitely be charging up on vitamin D under the Arizonan sun on green witch foraging walks in nature. Fuel our bodies with fresh, detoxifying kitchen witchery, and let the laughter and lightheartedness from this communal experience warm our hearts. In educative workshops on herbalism, lunar magic, folk witchcraft, divination techniques, and more, you can expand your personal witchcraft toolkit with new ways to practice magic.
But let’s not forget that this is also a time to enjoy ourselves, engage in enchanting shenanigans, and connect with others! Here you will meet other witches from all over the USA to shape a new, strong (and thoroughly magical!) support network of like-minded individuals. Enjoy deep talks, meaningful tarot sessions, exchanging witchy knowledge and ideas, doing enchanted arts and crafts, or dance around the bonfire with your new witch friends :)

The Location
The retreat will be held in a secluded, beautiful retreat center in the Page Springs green belt just outside Sedona in Cornville, Arizona. Ancient Springs Retreat Center is a newly renovated spiritual retreat center offering nature-lovers and magical people a welcoming, comfortable, and beautiful space to enjoy. Wandering under tall cottonwood and sycamore trees, we will explore the 6 acres of land – learning which green witch treasures are to be found in the local flora this time of year, enjoying the beauty of an artesian spring, ponds, and picturesque paths. And tuning in with the spirits of the land to harness the seasonal energies for personal growth in this inspiring and peaceful place in the Verde Valley. Oh – and we might also be cuddling the cute animal friends that are being cared for on this gem of natural land!
A spacious sanctuary room – equipped with spiritual retreats in mind – provides ample space for circle work, meditation, rituals, yoga, and group sessions. In the cozy dining area, we will communally enjoy delicious and healthy meals, prepared with much love and care by two local kitchen witches. They will do their very best to cater to all dietary preferences and restrictions. The food is prepared with produce from the organic garden and orchard of the venue, or purchased from local farmers and suppliers who have an awareness of their environmental and social impact. 100% Good-Vibes kitchen witchery! A big fire pit offers the perfect place for a sacred bonfire ritual to welcome spring, moon- and stargazing and enjoy a detoxifying, fresh-herb infused refreshment with the other witches.
The comfortable shared rooms are equipped with two single twin beds. The private rooms are equipped with a queen bed each. All of these rooms share 4 full bathrooms and one half-bath. The suite is a private accommodation with queen bed and private bathroom. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the entire property.
Ancient Springs is home to Indios Huichol, a non-profit that was formed with the intention of serving the tribal and non-tribal communities, providing counseling services, educational programs, and workshops. Part of the proceeds are donated to benefit the Elders in his Wixarika (Huichol) communities.
Parking spaces are available at the location. Nearby airports are Flagstaff Pulliam Airport, Prescott Regional Airport, and Phoenix Sky Harbor.
Depending on participants’ needs, shuttles might be arranged, or you can find travel companions through the Retreat WhatsApp group.

Policies
This retreat is open to ALL practitioners (18+) and is meant to be a safe space for those who attend. Being respectful and open-minded towards all is a non-negotiable condition.
To join, a non-refundable deposit is needed to hold your space. Full payment must be received until 1st of January 2025.
Please note that there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, the cancellation policy described here will apply, with no exceptions. If unforeseen circumstances occur (e.g. injury, illness, work issues, family emergency etc.), you’re welcome to find someone else to take your spot. If we have people on the waitlist, we’ll do our best to replace you and refund your money, but cannot promise this. In some cases, transferring your paid deposit to another witches’ cookery retreat might be possible.
If for some unexpected reason, The Witches’ Cookery cancels the retreat, we’ll refund you in full for all payments including deposits, but cannot compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. We do recommend purchasing Travel Insurance if that’s a worry.
